Villa Sao Miguel

We've had lots of excitement around here lately, from broken elevators, broken gates, broken plumbing, broken hearts,... well you get the idea. I need to make sure you are all notified of the following:

1) Board meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the Rec room at 6:30pm (lower level of building A).

2) New Board members appointed by VSM HOA are Theresa Casey and Daniel Ledesma.  A full board now reviews all action items.

3)  New office hours beginning 9/1/09 are Tuesdays 10-11:30 a.m. and Thursdays 5-6:30 p.m.  Office number for special appointments is 619-298-2034.

4) Noise issues: individual condos are not located in the middle of a 40 acre field and noise echoes off all the building walls.  Please observe quiet hours from 11 pm to 7 a.m.   Consider your neighbor as you would like to be considered.

5) Current rules are still in effect.  HOA Committee is still revising CC&R's, Bylaws and Rules & Regulations.

6)  New tenants must  present a copy of their lease to the VSM office, order their phone number programmed into the entry call box and then pick up and complete a "Welcome  Packet", which includes age verification, emergency information form, etc.  Fines may be imposed if this is not done.

7) The new entry doors to A building have been installed.

8) The VSM Board took action and Cox basic cable was installed in the recreation room in June and a dvd/vcr player was donated and installed.

9) All residents are invited to enjoy the DVD's and VCR tapes donated to Villa Sao Miguel.  We send a special "Thank You" to the family of Jorge Bareno and to Jessica Auerbach for donating the movies.

10) The VSM Board replaced the worn out furniture in the recreation room and Ms. Agnes Sanders donated a new recliner to the room.

11) A computer to play games and practice using your mouse skills was donated to Villa Sao Miguel by the HOA Office and Mr. Ted Casselberry kindly set it up in the VSM Library for use.

13)  At July 14 HOA Meeting specifications for new windows were announced.  Dual pane, Low E vinyl windows.  New windows are being ordered from Clear Concepts, Jason Gage is representative, 619-583-7171. These windows are eligible for the federal energy rebate.  Any board member will be happy to arrange for you to view the newly installed windows.

Vehicles parked in the VSM lot without a permit are subject to be towed at the owners expense.
